PRAISE & PRAYER

We recently received an email with our Ugandan partner's praises for this year and prayers for next year:

PRAISE

  • Amazing miraculous provision for our school construction needs and other property developments:

    • Fencing of 5.61 acres of land for Donela Primary School (DONAPS) AND Donela High School (DHS) in Wobulenzi.

    • Construction and completion of the eight-classroom block at DONAPS Wobulenzi, including an administrative office.

    • Construction and completion of the two-level, 12-classroom block for DHS at Wobulenzi, including administrative offices.

"We celebrate the on-going DHS construction at the new property, the DONAPS Wobulenzi classroom block construction, and the corresponding much-needed classroom space it is creating for DONAPS in Bombo. This transition gets us out of the danger zone for schools that are not licensed with the Government."

    • Refurbishing the old classroom block, including installing ceilings at DONAPS in Kakooge.

"We're excited about refurbishing the classroom block at Kakooge, furnishing for the new block, and installation of a solar system and two security cameras."

  • Positive enrollment numbers at DHS and DONAPS in Bombo and Kakooge. Enrollment at Wobulenzi's campus is also picking up again!

  • Zero teacher turnover at DONAPS in Bombo this year. In addition, only one teacher left from DONAPS Kakooge. Praise God for this stability!

  • Graduation of eight of our Life with Hope sponsored children: two in fashion and design; one in electrical installation; two in agriculture (animal husbandry); one in social work/social administration; one in law; and one in human resources.

  • Salary increments for our staff.

  • 146 Bibles bought for the children, so they can now have easy access to God's word.

  • Completion of the roof on the PAG Bombo Church sanctuary.

PRAYER

  • Continuous favor upon our school construction endeavors, so that we may bring to successful completion what we have embarked on with the Donela Schools.

  • New staff to help uplift our "local donor base" efforts, using the very funding that is gathered from the local giving through our churches and communities to bless those around us who are in need.

"We anticipate it will probably be one of our recently graduated beneficiaries. Pray that we find the right candidate, and that we gain more local publicity."

  • Smooth resettlement for those leaving the Life Homes.

  • Provisions for the Life Home Village."We operate with huge school fees balances; transportation is also a challenge, especially when the school bus breaks down."

  • Enrollment to grow to 800 at DONAPS in Bombo; to grow to over 400 at DONAPS Wobulenzi and Kakooge; and to grow over 129 at DHS.

  • Successful completion of the high school licensing process and move from Bombo to Wobulenzi for DHS.

  • Competent instructors in music, carpentry, farming, tailoring, and fashion and design (skill-based trades) to be hired at DHS.

  • Four certified and licensed teachers to be hired at DONAPS in Kakooge.

  • All Donela Schools pray for continued provisions including:

    • Teacher housing which has become more of a basic necessity in schools these days in Uganda

    • Boarding facilities

    • Playground equipment

    • Flush toilets

    • Dining hall

    • Leveling and tiling their compound

Also, please pray for a safe presidential election period for our country in January.

Your Support

We are very grateful for all you have done to support God's efforts in Central Uganda through Align and our Ugandan partners. God has brought us so, so far in building an environment where impoverished and at-risk children are trained to be wise and productive lights in their communities for His glory!

As noted above, we still have much to accomplish to meet the needs of the children. Our CFO Joe Jackson reports funding is still needed to facilitate the High School relocation to Wobulenzi, fully finish improvements at all the Donela Schools, and provide additional supplies and equipment needed. If your heart is stirred by the prayer requests, just click on the link below to make a donation.

We are so excited to see all the goodness God brings to us in 2026!
