Edrick was in elementary school when his mother became too ill to do household chores or care for her children. Edrick did most of the work around the house and inconsistently attended school. His mother improved and she agreed to allow him to move into Student Housing where he began to thrive in school and receive consistent care and food that he needed as a growing boy. Edrick is now in his 3rd year of High School. He recently lost one of his sponsors and is in need of another sponsor to ensure that he is able to complete his education and learn a skill to be able to support himself.
