the Entry Ban on Ugandans
Unfortunately, the CDC further extended its existing entry ban in response to the recent Ebola outbreak to October 9, 2026. This applies to all nationals from the DRC, the South Sudan and Uganda. Please pray for the Align Team as we work to provide you with the latest developments in Uganda without Alex and Millie this fall.

Patron Events in the South Bay

Align International will be holding two dinners at H.T. Grill in Redondo Beach on the following dates:

2026 Medical Mission
Our Ugandan partners and friends at Peninsula Community Church had an AMAZING medical mission at the end of last month. Pastor Jim said, "I think 245 local folks and over 200 medical staff came together for this week of ministry. It was powerful." Many experienced and heard of the love of Jesus from the team. Highlights include:
* 4,492 patients through triage
* 9,436 cases/or patient visits
* 3,301 tests performed
* 99 surgeries in two locations
Check out some of the photos below - you can see why church staff overheard a couple of Muslim women talking, "Oh how they loved us this week!'”

Life With Hope Children for September
This month we feature twin girls who were abandoned by their father and mother and now live with their elderly grandmother. Sadly twins are at risk for kidnapping in Uganda by witch doctors who believe their body parts are magical and use them in their witchcraft. Martha and Lovinsa each need a sponsor so they can regularly receive meals, healthcare and attend school. Please click here to sponsor Martha and here to sponsor Lovinsa.

P.S. Finished Donela High Dormitory!
Here is the latest report from Deo Kabugo, Civil Engineer for the Uganda team: "The dormitory is 99.9% complete and has started to be used by the Donela High School girls. The only pending works include installing the outlet pipes to complete the gutter system, and installing the wardrobes and laundry lines. These shall be done as soon as possible.
Our hearts are full of thanks to God for the great things that are happening. Great thanks to you all for the great efforts. May God continue blessing you and the works of your hands."
All of us at Align extend our congratulations and sincere thanks to all those in Uganda and the U.S. who brought this projection to fruition!
