Gift's home life is heartbreaking. She lives in immense poverty with her 6 siblings in a 2 room structure under the care of their mother.  Gift's father suffers from alcoholism and takes little to no responsibility to care for his family, frequently disappearing for extended periods of time. Her mother works as a peasant farmer, but struggles to provide food for her family, at times, not even a single meal in a day. Gift would love to attend school, but her mother cannot afford it.  With sponsorship, Gift will be provided with the nutrition she desperately needs and a quality education that will offer her hope for a brighter future.
